Description
A delicious and hearty vegetarian lasagna packed with layers of ricotta, spinach, and marinara sauce.

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cups fresh spinach
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
- Combine ricotta cheese, egg, spinach, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 noodles on top of the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
- Sprinkle with one-third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Add another layer of marinara sauce.
- Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with remaining noodles, sauce, and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing to ensure clean cuts.
