- 250 g Quark
- 150 g Zucker
- 200 g Mehl
- 50 g Kakaopulver
- 2 Eier
- 100 g Butter
- 1 Päckchen Backpulver
- 1 Prise Salz
- Vanilleextrakt (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C and prepare muffin tins with liners.
- Melt the butter in a small pot or microwave. Let it cool slightly.
- Combine melted butter with sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Mix until fluffy.
- Add the quark and stir until smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
- Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the quark mixture and stir until just mixed.
- Fill the muffin tins about two-thirds full to prevent overflow.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the tin before removing.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve.
Notes
Muffins can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
