Description

Delicious peanut butter cookie bars with chocolate and caramel for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter caramel candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend the creamy peanut butter and softened butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the brown and white sugars and mix well.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the peanut butter mixture until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and caramel candies.
  7. Spread the mixture into a greased baking pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Make the dough beforehand and refrigerate for the best flavor. You can also prepare them in an air fryer at a lower temperature.
