- 2 cups guava puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake pan.
- Beat the butter and sugar together in a bowl until fluffy and light.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the guava puree and vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients and milk alternately to the butter mixture, mixing well until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake and decorate as desired.
