Description

A moist and flavorful Guava Cake that brings the tropical essence of Hawaii into your home.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups guava puree
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake pan.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar together in a bowl until fluffy and light.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the guava puree and vanilla extract.
  5. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Add the dry ingredients and milk alternately to the butter mixture, mixing well until smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the cake and decorate as desired.

Notes

For best results, let the cake sit overnight to enhance the flavors.
