Description

A delightful chicken dish featuring a crispy golden crust made with Pecorino cheese, complemented by a creamy lemon sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Pecorino cheese, grated
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 lemons (juiced and zested)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and grated Pecorino cheese.
  3. In another bowl, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the lemon mixture, then coat with the breadcrumbs and cheese mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Meanwhile, heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Serve the baked chicken with the warm lemon cream sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh parsley.
