- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for searing
Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry and season with salt and pepper.
- In a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream and fresh herbs, bringing the sauce to a gentle simmer.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning sauce over them, and let simmer for 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs.
Notes
For leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to maintain tenderness.
